These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the VelBooks website and application ("Services") provided by FinAcc Technologies. By signing up or using the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. The Services
VelBooks is web-based software for billing, inventory, GST return management, accounting, order management and online stores. The Services are accessed through a web browser and require an internet connection.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including by staff you give access to.
3. Free trial and subscriptions
New accounts may receive a free trial for the period shown on our website. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription at the prices published on our pricing page, plus applicable GST. Prices may change with notice.
4. Your data
You own the business data you enter. You grant us permission to host and process it only to provide the Services. You are responsible for the accuracy of invoices, tax rates, HSN/SAC codes and returns prepared using the Services; VelBooks is a tool and not tax, legal or accounting advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Services, including attempting unauthorised access, uploading unlawful content, selling prohibited goods through your online store, or using the Services to issue fake invoices.
6. Availability
We work to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance and events outside our control may cause downtime.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. Read our refund and cancellation policy for billing details.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
