About VelBooks

Walk into most Indian shops and offices and you'll find the same patchwork: a bill book or a basic billing program at the counter, stock counted by memory or in Excel, a separate notebook for credit, purchase bills in a file waiting for the accountant, and maybe a WhatsApp group where customers send orders. Every piece works on its own. Together they cost hours every week and still leave gaps: stock that doesn't match, GST returns that don't match sales, and orders that slip through.

VelBooks is our answer: one web-based app for billing, inventory, GST returns, accounts, orders and an online store, built for the way Indian businesses actually trade. It is designed to be simple enough for a single-counter kirana store and complete enough for a wholesaler or distributor.

The name

VelBooks is inspired by the Vel, the spear, a long-standing symbol of focus, sharpness and clarity. That's what we want your books to be: sharp, precise and always pointing in the right direction. Our logo is a stylised "V" with a spear tip rising from its centre.

Who we are

VelBooks is a product of FinAcc Technologies. We build business software for Indian traders, retailers, wholesalers and distributors. FinAcc has been building software for Indian businesses since 2008.
