This Privacy Policy explains how FinAcc Technologies ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit velbooks.com or use the VelBooks application at app.velbooks.com ("Services"). • Account data: your name, mobile number, email address, business name, address and GSTIN that you provide when you sign up.
• Business data: invoices, items, stock, customers, suppliers, orders, accounting entries and online store content that you enter into VelBooks. You own this data; we process it on your behalf to provide the Services.
• Communication data: messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• Technical data: device, browser, IP address and usage logs needed to operate, secure and improve the Services.

2. How we use data

• To create and manage your account and provide the Services.
• To provide support and respond to your requests.
• To send service-related messages such as trial, billing and security notices.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
• To improve the Services using aggregated information.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run the Services (for example hosting, payment and communication providers) under confidentiality obligations, when you instruct us to, or when required by law.

4. Your online store customers

If you use the VelBooks online store, you decide what customer data is collected from your buyers, and you are responsible for informing them how you use it. We process that data on your behalf.

We keep account and business data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, or as required by law (for example, tax record-keeping rules). You may ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login details private.

7. Your rights

This website does not use advertising cookies. The VelBooks application may use essential cookies to keep you signed in.
